Title: PALESTINE BORDER CONTROL WW2
Post by: dtrapnell on April 26, 2017, 08:30:06 PM
Please can anyone tell me about the Palestine Border Control force? I think it was part of the Palestine Police c.1940.
So while not srtictly military, I hope it is near enough for someone to tell me about it and, in particular, its working at the Allenby Bridge.
ANY info, pictures etc will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks  David

I have only heard of the Palestine Border Control Police which were part of the Palestine Police force at that time. I could not find out anything much about them. I am not sure if that helps.

                                                              Regards

                                                              Chris.

Thanks, Chris. To be candid - not much help! I have 3 related items & will write about them when I know more.
Thanks so much for troubling to reply. Best wishes DT

David,

Could you post a scan of one of your covers please, so that the rest of us can see what is under discussion.

Thanks
