Title: WW2 british POW camps for Italian POWs in Palestine
Post by: dtrapnell on June 03, 2017, 09:05:28 PM
POW camps known are 321 & 322. (179 has been said to be one but was not - just a British troops leave camp) - but only from 1943 on.
I have 1941 NOTIFICATION OF CAPTURE cards from Italian POWs in "Palastina camp 5", 6, 7 & 9 and a cover to "Camp 11". Were these precursors?
Peter Burrows has not seen them. I can find nothing written about them.
Can anyone help me please?
