Title: 2KG VI 2/6 Brown with "ARMY POST(??)OFFICIAL" circular cancellation(Seychelles?)
Post by: Tony Warren on July 20, 2017, 11:12:28 AM
Does anyone have any info on the origin of this ?

The pm diameter is about 27mm and the text  runs over two lines between two lozenges/segments with vertical lines about 1/8 apart.
The material came from the same source as a previous query I had on some Seychelles items.

This seems like a standard ARMY / POST OFFiCE parcel postmark, as issued to most FPOs.

Usage in Seychelles would be very unusual (unlikely)

Tony

I agree with Alistair - it would be helpful to have a scan of the cover showing the postmark.

Thanks, Mike

Sorry guys as there is no cover and no defining postmark best leave it as standard as you suggest (not my bailiwick)

Thanks again for your input.
