Can anyone help me out with identifying the ship name on this cover. If you have read the latest Journal you may have noted Colin Tabeart's brief article about MoMM 2/C Ralph Ward on board the submarine Spearfish during WW2. I had this whole correspondence and have sold much of this on eBay, his covers were either to spearfish, the navy hospital at Mare Island or USS Gar, however in sorting through these I came across the attached.
Redirected to Spearfish this is addressed to USS ?? I have tried Garrison and loads of other names and searched the web... no luck. Any help with the hand writing would be appreciated.
Hi, Pete,
You have either an absolutely unique item which has broken the laws of Einsteinian physics by travelling to the 24th century (and back) - for those who haven't invoked Mr.Google, see http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/USS_Garrison, or the name 'Garrison' is a mis-name for 'Harrison', a Fletcher class destroyer commissioned in January 1943 - see for example https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Harrison_(DD-573)
On a balance of probabilities, I submit the latter seems more likely ! ;D
Does anyone else have any insights ?

The first letter of the ship's name is the same as the first letter of the sender's name. There is a "Hazel Biwer" listed in the Klamath County directory. Could be a relative.
Not conclusive, but my money is with Nick
