Title: Jersy Cover
Post by: Alan Baker on June 05, 2018, 09:05:21 PM
A fellow member of a local society displayed this cover recently and was puzzled as to why it had a British 1 1/2d stamp on it as well as a Jersey 1d and a Guernsey 1/2d. The German stamp was presumably affixed as it was redirected to France

Any ideas?

Agree no other reason for this and Feldpost date stamps are well known with this dubious use.
