Title: QEII Forces Air Letter
Post by: Peter Harvey on March 05, 2019, 06:17:00 AM
I have attached a picture of a 1960-70's QEII period Forces Air letter form, nothing unusual in that, but it is printed in green.

Never seen this before, unused and no printers details.

Does anyone know if these were issued in this colour.

Peter

I notice that the instructions to open are in English and French - could this be a Canadian Forces item?

Mike and Peter,

I have seen this green air letter used before in some items from the Mike Knot Collection.

                                                                Cheers

Thanks both and yes noted the French.

I am not certain this was ever formally issued, I recall a couple of philatelic items, but no 'real' postal history.

I shall keep asking and might find an Air letter collector.

Thank you
