Title: Lt ER Peachey
Post by: Alan Baker on April 25, 2019, 09:53:20 PM
Another one from AK's accumulation.

Scan attached of a cover sent in 1919, bearing the censor mark 6-523 and APO S110, located at Antwerp.

The signature in the bottom left appears to be that of ER Peachey, but I am puzzled by the second line, which appears to say "Lt Q P R". (See second page for enlargement.) According to FWR, there was a Lt ER Peachey serving with the Royal Artillery.

Am I reading this wrong (or was he a football fan!)?
