Title: Capt Kenneth Raynor
Post by: Alan Baker on December 07, 2019, 11:37:54 AM
Attached a scan of AK item, signed by this officer and franked FPO H12, 10th January 1919. Proud locates XII Corps in Constantinople at this time. It bears CM7/491.

Lt, later Capt Raynor was an officer in 1/6 Battalion, The Black Watch, but later in the Intelligence Corps. Can anyone tell me when he started in this latter role or how I can find this out?

Alan,

You will need look at his service record. Check the Kew NA website and see if they hold it. I have come across this man before but I am not sure why at the moment? I will have a look at my covers around this time as I do think I have something written by or sent to him.

                                                        Cheers

                                                        Chris

Hi Alan

I also have seen this chap before, also posted details of a cover with this censor and a unrecorded cachet a few months ago.  Will scan and send you  a copy when I get chance.

A very nice cover if it comes on the market?

Chris.
