Cover with transcribed letter from APO SX 8 which at this time was at Salonika Base Depot. May 1919

Good letter from the Fiennes correspondence.

Terrific letter, Chris. Gagry was a bathing resort established by the Russian government in 1901. All the hotels belonged to the state.

Ed K's excellent book has a further letter from this correspondence but not transcribed, 25th March 1919 See pages 190 - 191.

Also see pages 173 - 176 & 178 - 180 for two Townsend letters, again transcribed in full.
