Missed a couple of day due to decorating.  Day off today.

My cover for today is ex A K collection, Field Service Post Card to Ceylon

Posted by a member of the Ceylon Rifles who were at Anzac,  Guard duties and a guard for General Birdwood.

Help appreciated with the senders signature please.  I've attached a separate scan of card reverse.

2L/t Thomas Wardaw Horne 3rd Btn Seaforth Highlanders attached to the 8th Btn. KIA 22/8/1917, remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial
BUT very strange still listed in the January 1918 Army List
