Title: WWI HMS Queen Elizabeth cover
Post by: Marc Parren on June 17, 2020, 03:25:46 PM
I suppose the attached cover originates from the HMS Queen Elizabeth a super-dreadnought battleship. Unfortunately no dated postmark but can somebody help out with the signature?

Hi Frank,
Thanks for the swift reply. I think there are three initials scribbled here so I suppose we are dealing with our Royal Marine. Did he serve on the HMS Queen Elizabeth at the time?
