I am not sure if we have had any Italy yet as cover of the day....other than the British WW1 APO material that Frank Schofield showed (more please).
My cover for today is a stationary AMERICAN LEGION cover printed for the Naples Billet, Registered and sent through the Italian post to the Adjutant General of the Army, in Washington D.C. On the reverse this shows the cachet AMERICAN LEGION SALONE Galieria Principle DI NAPOLI NAPLES POST N.4 - with departure 22 November 1926 and arrival 4 Dec 1926.

Very interesting item. Something I've never seen before.
