Title: WW1 APO S120 Upper Silesian Plebiscite - Rarest APO ??
Post by: Peter Harvey on February 04, 2021, 02:32:07 PM

Attached picture shows the British APO S120 used April 21 with the 2nd Black Watch at Oppeln, with the Silesian Plebiscite Force, clearly a vey scarce example of this.

Now for a bit of fund I wonder what is the rarest British APO or FPO datestamp from WW1.

I certainly have not seen this S120 before, but then I had not seen an FPO AGX until recently and some of the TPO marks are way off the scale and extremely scarce. Anyone care to add to this??

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter

Very nice.

Certainly well-up the listing

APO SX 18  (May not exist.)

APO SX 24 from Greece late 1918  In  twenty plus years I've seen one example, (used as a Back-stamp)
