could anyone help with this US military censor mark?

(reverse side of cover is empty)

SWPA - South Western Pacific Area I think.

You were nearly correct - South West Pacific Area - it was an Allied command (largely American)

I always the South West Pacific Area Command covered the allied troops under the command of Gen. Douglas MacArthur as opposed to the naval and marine forces further east.
