Post by: Chris Grimshaw on March 17, 2021, 02:22:34 PM
Afternoon Team

One for our ' Family History' research experts, hint Alan,

Scan shows a cover to a Miss Grundy,  I've traced a Mr T.E. Milligan Grundy who was Treasurer for Lady Paget's Medical Unit in Skopje No II in 1915.

If he spent time out in Serbia is unknown  Possibly this cover is to his daughter.  Help appreciated to see if we can tie them together.

I've so far will the assistance of Google found staff lists for the 1st 2nd and 3rd Units involved.

Update

I've since found a further site 'Scarlet Finders'  which lists all the staff of the Scottish Women's Hospital movement in WWI,  Doesn't however include SRF and Red Cross Units.  Still searching,

Units in question are

Abbaye de Royaumont
Ajaccio, Corsica
America Unit
Calais Contingent
Canteen units at Creil, Crepy-en-Valois and Favresse
Girton and Newnham Unit
London Units
Sallanches, Haute Savoie
Units in Serbia during the early days of the war, which are given in the lists as:
Mladonovatz
Kraguievatz
Valjevo

Chris

Have now converted these online lists to a Excel file which is searchable,  Approx 1570 names.
