Title: UNUSUAL NAVAL POST MARKER EAST AFRICA
Post by: Ross Debenham on July 02, 2021, 12:33:51 AM
I attach a censored naval cover from East Africa in WW2. Censored on 27/7 with no year mentioned. I am looking for assistance from our naval experts, first what is the number of the post marker and secondly did it come from a ship or a shore establishment. Most importantly has it been observed previously.

Ross

looks to me like N461, which I believe is a generic mark. I have seen it on other East African mail.
