AS Howard is our 'gurue' on American Forces I'm hopeful another cover which light can be shed upon.

Scan shows a standard RFHMS Dec 7 18 cancel. Endorsed 'Soldiers Mail' and addressed to Detroit. No further postal markings. Oval Censor PE/C 18 recorded from Bakaritizka (Ref Edith M Faulstich)

I can read 'Censored ------- Capt USA but not the signature.

The sender was Sgt. Whitney McQuire of I Company.

Censor was Cpt. Harry E. Carrier, personnel officer of the regiment.
