I attach a scan of an "On Active Service" cover I believe from the Middle East to the American University in Beirut, and post marked FPO 187. My question is whether the Free French censor marker is military or a civil marker from Lebanon.

I have this mark on what is obviously civil mail into Lebanon, so I have assumed it is not military, and that CP is Controle Postale (ie Postal Censor).
