Title: NZ WWI Records
Post by: ChristchurchPS on May 18, 2015, 12:45:26 AM
The War records of NZ personnel in World War I have bee digitised as a centenary project.
These are available at www.archives.govt.nz .
Go to 'search for records in Archway' [under the poppy logo] and enter the person's name.
You will then be able to search their complete war history from time of enlistment until discharge.  The dates of each movement of his unit etc are shown etc etc.

The CPS Library also has the archive of the late Robin Startup [of Masterton] and may be able to assist with information as well.

Hope that this is of assistance to some of you

Hi Robert,

Thank you for telling us about this great resource. The other military/forces links from the website are also most interesting and I am sure will aid many peoples research.
