Title: Southern Russia to Finland 1920
Post by: Chris Grimshaw on October 03, 2015, 03:55:09 PM
Hi All

Cover from Army Post Office B.M.S.R. 1, located at Novorossisk, Southern Russia, to Helsinki, dated 14th February 1920 and received 8th March 1920.

No transit marks, Posted unstamped and no "On Active Service" endorsement or signature. Boxed T Hand-stamp applied in what looks the same ink as the cancel, applied at APO B.M.S.R. ?

On arrival T in circle and 1 MK applied in Blue crayon, I guess 1MK means 1 Mark.

Routing,  Best I can it explain as is, Novorossisk to Constantinople by sea, then to London by rail through Europe, then onwards direct to Finland by Sea.

Friends comments welcomed.

Cheers

Chris.
