Title: British Naval Base Constantinople 1921

Hi can anyone help me please, with information about the cachet 'British Naval Base constantinople'
I know there was a Brit. base there, but what about this cachet?
the postmark  is 25 Nov 21, the return address on the flap  is:
T Harry, C.C.B.'s Office, H.M. Naval Base, Constantinople

The officers at the Naval Base at Constantinople, were carried on the books of HMS Julius (a harbour craft) also 4 Trawlers and Motor Launches listed.
The CCB might (only a guess) stand for Captain Constantinople Base, which was commissioned on 1st October 1919
No. T Harry listed as an officer (probably a rating)

The scan below whilst not directly related to your query may help you to put together exactly what presence the navy had in Constantinople post-war.

I've scanned the whole page, partly to boast about actually having written something up and not kept it in an envelope, but also to save repeating the info in this post
