Title: Type CM7 Censor.
Post by: Chris Weddell on April 21, 2016, 08:40:52 PM
Hi All

Could anyone confirm that the CM7 censor mark 0240 used around the 10th of September 1918 was used by the 3rd Battalion Royal Marines Island Garrison at Mudros. Any help would be great as i am in the midst of writing this field service postcard up.

                                                      Thanks in advance

                                                                Chris.

Hi Chris

Yes, I can confirm this was used by the 3rd Battalion Royal Marines at Mudros, One of a small number of these censor markings associated with the Garrison at Mudros and other Islands in the area.
