Title: HMS Hood
Post by: sphillips on August 20, 2016, 07:53:51 PM
Hello members,

Does any member have any covers from HMS Hood? And would be willing to scan it and email me a copy? As I am doing some research into the ship and as much info from fellow members would be gratefully received.

Cheers

About three years ago I sold a box of 133 pre war HMS Hood covers, many with letters, to a dealer, some of these have appeared on the market, so they are out there somewhere.

I had a bit of luck last Saturday at the FPHS fair at Banstead, I bought 13 naval items from a dealer, and during my research of officers names came across the item attached, and thought you might like sight of it

Regret since my serious operation early this year I have lost touch with several dealers stocks, owing to limited travel problems. I have only two or three that I am in touch with at the moment.
But I will contact them to ask if anything available
