I am writing up an Italian postcard, addressed to an Officer in the 14th General Hospital in Wimereux, the card from his brother, a Royal Engineer officer attached to 144th Brigade. 48th Division, has been redirected to  Duty A, 17-7-18, the day before it was postmarked at FPO 144 on  18th July. Despite searching for some time I cannot find what Duty A is, any ideas?
(The young officer died of his wounds on 25th October 1918)
