Please will anyone tell me if I am right in thinking that the RMS in the attached stands for  Railway (not Rail) Mail Service (singular)?
Ted Proud, Peter Harvey kindly tells me, says it stands for Railhead Mail Office. BUT, if so, why not RMO?
