At the tail end of the Chanak Crisis two new FPO;s were opened FPO 1 Double Ring cancel at Chanak, known used in June 1923 only and FPO 2 Double Ring cancel at Kilia mid June to end August 1923.

These cancels are rarely seen, I attach a cover with a strike of FPO 2 30th July 1923.  To my knowledge the only example ex AK collection.

The late J Slingsby collection also only contained a couple of examples of each cancel.

Two very scarce cancels,  would be interested in offers of or details of any such material.
