FPO AGX October 1918 A New Discovery

Once in a while something comes along which is a New Discovery.

One such item I show on the scan attached.  FPO AGX used 2 October 1918

Previously not recorded as seen or used.  The only other usage of this cancel was in August to October 1919 in Smyrna when a small HQ was set up.

A very good find.  Its very pleasing when one acquires an item which clearly shows use of a datestamp previously stated as "not recorded" - well done!
It must mean that there are likely to be others out there to expand period of use!
