Hi members,
I have got a Fieldpost letter, and on reverse are the soldier number 176552. The Name is Bowen. Who can help about his story?
Thank you for answer!
Ingo

Alan Baker

FWR does not recognise the service number. Can you scan in a copy of the item, front and back?

Michael Dobbs

Ingo

The reverse scan has part of the envelope bent over near to the senders name - is there anything under that bent over part of the envelope?

Thanks, Mike  :)

Please ignore my question - I saw this on your Facebook page and now see that it has NOT been folded over but has been torn off!

Mike,

A stupid damage! But walked into my collection!

But I found the Family Name in Herfordshire newspaper. The link... https://www.herefordtimes.com/news/17888824.war-declared-life-herefordshire-changed-forever/
