Frank Schofield

A movement order covering two soldiers returning home from Italy in 1920, it covers the journey from Modane in France, (at the end of the Modane Tunnel) to Calais.  I suspect there was a earlier movement order to cover the Italian part of the journey.
The Overland Route Taranto to Cherbourg had ceased operating at the end of November 1919
L/Cpl Frank J. Hollier of the RAMC was awarded the Military Medal while serving with the 22nd Field Ambulance, 22nd Brigade, 7th Division
Private John Shergold of the Royal Munster Fusiliers (1st Garrison Battalion) who served as Line of Communication Troops.
A cachet of the L. C's Branch of the Staff / H.Q. British Force in Italy, also a French cachet is present.
