I have received the following enquiry:

I am a collector of Palestine postal history and military mail too.
I am looking for N.Z. forces in Palestine during WWII:
where units were stationed, N.Z. postmarks, literture, etc.
appreciate your assistance.

Can anyone offer any assistance / advice please?

Suggest the gentleman tries to get hold of a copy of Proud's book History of the New Zealand Military Postal Service 1845 - 1991  Not much on Palestine

Or ask Lorraine

Many thanks for the information - I have advised the person making the request accordingly.
We do not appear to have any article on the subject in our Journals.

John Davis's book ' Egypt: From Postal Concession until Suez 1932 to 1956' makes several references to NZ Forces in Egypt- Chapter 23(in Vol.2)pages 322 to 352. I will see if there is any useful references to NZ Forces in Palestine.
