British Advanced Depot - Amara

I have received the following enquiry from a member of the India Study Circle:

[color=maroon]Attached is a scan of the Green Envelope used from Amara. There is nothing on the back of the envelope. Any information you can get on the period when the 'British Advanced Depot – Amara' was used would be very helpful.[/color]

I believe that it is a WW1 item.
