From the markings, is it possible to see where he was being held at the time?

Hello Alan, Sgt Léon Voreux 145th Infantry Regiment. The entire regiment was captured at Maubeuge, France on 8 september 1914.
According the documentation of the Red Cross Geneva he was held at the pow camp Friedrichsfeld. Roger Callens
