Another AK. This is franked 7th May 1919, FPO 14 and bears censor mark CM6/4193. This is presumably 14 Brigade, 32 Division, which Proud notes as being in Cologne up until (26th April 1919) (his brackets, not mine).

The writer gives his details as 116509 Cpl FE Geoghegan, D Coy 52 KLR (King's Liverpool Regiment?), BAOR. This should be easy to trace?

Unfortunately, I have not found a Cpl FE Geoghegan with this service number and according to Wiki there was no unit of the King's Liverpool Regiment attached to 14 Brigade or indeed as part of 32 Division

Any ideas?

This time with scan!

52nd Battalion KLR

From the Long, Long Trail website

52nd (Graduated) Battalion
Up to 27 October 1917, this was known as 233rd Graduated Battalion and had no regimental affiliation. Before that it had been 75th Battalion of the Training Reserve and up to September 1916 had been the 12th (Reserve) Battalion of the East Lancashire Regiment. A training unit based at Herringfleet, it was part of 205th Brigade of 68th Division. By June 1918 it had moved to Henham Park near Southwold. After the Armistice, the battalion went to Germany as part of the Army of Occupation on the Rhine.

This shows 52nd Battalion to have been in BAOR

My next idea was that the Army was restructured as a result of the formation of BAOR and indeed I have found this to be so - please see the following document - The Original British Army of the Rhine by Richard A. Rinaldi © 2006:
http://www.orbat.info/history/volume5/518/Original%20BAOR.pdf

This shows that 52nd (S) Bn King's (Liverpool Regiment) assigned Mar 1919; left Oct 1919 formed part of 14th Infantry Brigade in the Lancashire Division of BAOR.  I don't know what the 'S' stands for!

The Lancashire Division was formed March 1919 from 32nd Division; disbanded October 1919 in Germany.

It suggests to me that we need a re-think about the designations given to FPO allocations in BAOR to reflect the changed designations as a result of the formation of BAOR.

aah - reading Note 2 of the BAOR ORBAT document I see that the 'S' stands for (Service) Battalion - I should have read it more thoroughly!
