You may get 2 covers of the day to make up for the few I missed.

Today like Howard we are sticking with the US Navy and Marines but this time during the 1910 - 1919 American Military Intervention in Mexico during the Mexican Revolution. The cover was posted by a member of the 5th Brigade which was occupying Vera Cruz after the Battle of Vera Cruz in April 1914. The cover is dated for June 1st 1914. Also shown is a real phot postcard of US Marines and US Navy during the Battle of Vera Crux.
