Afternoon Team

My cover for today is shown below,  Incoming cover to Gunner Searle.

Endorsed Hospital.  28/10/18  Not too uncommon but still not easy material to find. What makes this item more unusual is the FPO 66 Back-stamp for 28th December 1918

22nd Division had been sent to Dagatach to prepare for the allied invasion of European Turkey.  Not required following the Armistice was returning to Macedonia, 66th Brigade was located at Rendina near Stavros during December 1918 and Early January 1919.  Mail is recorded but not often seen during this period. 

The Slingsby collection contained nothing from this location.
