As guessed plugging away at these censors.

Scan shows a PPC with Censor 5 / 3486 cancelled APO S 5, 23 September 1917, This APO was located in Paris

Further cancelled AP O 2, machine cancel 25 September 1917. This Base APO was located in Rouen.

Circular cachet which I cannot make out,  can anyone assist?.

Chris

PS. A long way to go, but have broken the 100 barrier.  A start.

It looks like "Women's Emergency Canteens", for which Google gives quite a few entries.

AK's ledger notes against 5/3486 - "BRCS" - British Red Cross Society

I also note the address to which the card is sent - 13 Norham Gardens, Oxford. This was the home of Sir William Osler, Regius Professor of Medicine, Oxford University, from 1907 - 1919. Again plenty on Google, but again a medical connection
