I know this is a bit off topic but is anyone going to Stampex this week, and do they know if there will be any dealers there selling WW1 military postal history.
Have had a look at the dealers list but cant see any, I am hoping to go on Thursday as I have a few days off.
if any one can help with any details it would great so that I can decide if to go or not.
Many thanks
Andy

I am going tomorrow (first day) and Saturday.  I have not seen the list of dealers, but a number will undoubtedly have Forces material and that will include WW1 stuff.

Now quickly seen it on the PTS website: try Alan Berman, Argyll Etkin, The Magpie, Marc Kniffka Philatelie (Germany), to name but four - search round the dealers, especially those that have a variety of boxes on show - look under either GB or Military.  Whilst there are no WW1 specialist dealers, there will be plenty of material under the many generalist dealers.

Hi Andrew,

Hope you had luck at Stampex, there seems to be a reasonable amount of good WW1 material around at the moment, both shifting between dealers and in the general market for sale.

A bit of blatant advertising, no sure what you collect but you could alway look at my eBay items at www.stores.ebay.co.uk/The-Military-Mail-Man?_rdc=1
