A cover with a Rochester dated cancel dated for the 12 March 1917. The cover is tied with a PASSED BY CENSOR (2) mark. The only information I have found is in Gould. He notes 4C127 straight line PASSED BY CENSOR (1) 80 4 1/2. Note that (2) has been recorded in an auction list, claimed as Folkestone Airship Station. Can anyone confirm or say otherwise.

Well, I'll ask the obvious question, shall I ?  ;)

If the mark was applied at Folkestone Airship station, why does it bear a Rochester postmark ?
