Liven everyone up,

Staying WW1 Naval

Cover from HMS Hector Ships name endorsed on envelope front.  RFHMS London November 11 1915.

HMS Hector was a kite balloon vessel, a hired vessel in commission from 12th May 15 to 24th May 1916.  (Ref AK write up.)

There doesn't seem to be a censor mark for this ship.  I have four covers, three from same correspondence as yours Chris, plus another (scanned herewith)  addressed to Brigadier-General Laker at the Yorkshire Club , in York surprisingly.

After May 1916 she served as a troopship, collier and stores carrier, but my covers all dated when she was a Kite Balloon Ship in the Dardanelles
