Found in my Photo files -  2 very wet postal historians, July 2009, Great Langdale, Lake district.
Photo by me, equally wet.    :)

What was the route and rate of walking ??  :D :D

I hope they didn't have any mail in their rucksacks!!

Takes me back to my time walking in the Lake District - a few years ago now.

I found the picture while looking for an interesting cover.
I remember the day very clearly.
we were still walking up the track, up Great Langdale away  from the Old Dungeon Gyhll  hotel at that point.
the rate?  very slow!
