Having just become the custodian of what is an important and moving collection of covers I wish to share them with you.

All addressed to Lt A Bulman 1/4th Battn K.O.S.B., Killed in Action 12th July 1915 at Cape Helles, Gallipoli.

Covers show the desperation and hope that he was alive and a POW held by the family.
I attach page one so far.

Page two,  this one raises a number of questions.

How did it get from Cape Helles to Galata (Constantinople)

The circular PC cachet is I believe a London mark,  no indication when applied.

The bi-lingual cachet applied back in London?

Pages 3 and 4 attached.

Self explanatory,  No idea how page 4 got to Constantinople.

These complete the covers sent by his Mother.
